Box Settings and Price Application Diagram

1. BOX with a Parent Product

A parent product is an item that represents the BOX. For each BOX, you can set a parent product to represent it. In the store, when a customer clicks on a selected product, they are automatically taken to the BOX page. When selecting a BOX with a parent product, you can also specify the BOX's price structure. The BOX price can be set to either the total of the BOX products or the price of the parent product. If you set the price based on the total of the BOX products, please set the parent product price to 0.

2. BOX with Only BOX Products

A BOX with only BOX products does not have a parent product; the price is calculated solely as the total of the BOX products. Customers can access it directly from the link on the BOX page. You must either add the link or button directly to your theme, or share the link directly with customers.

About BOX Subscription Groups

For each subscription group, only one BOX can be assigned. You cannot use multiple BOXes within the same group.
Subscription groups linked to BOX will not be displayed on the product page, but only on the BOX page. Before setting up a BOX, you must first create a dedicated subscription group for the BOX.

※ When creating a subscription group, please make sure to select all BOX products (including parent and BOX products) as target products.

Important Note ①
If your theme already has app blocks for the product page and customer account page, you can use the BOX feature without any special setup.
If you have not implemented app blocks in your theme, the BOX feature may not display. In that case, you will need to reinstall the assets into your theme. The method for reinstalling assets is as follows.
  1. From the menu in the app admin screen, please click on "Install theme".
  2. Please select the theme you want to import.
  3. Click the “Show how to install theme code” button near the bottom of the page, then click the “Install asset to theme” button to complete the process.
*Merchants with specially customized Go Sub themes may require special handling.

The BOX feature cannot be used outside of subscription purchases.
For example, it is not possible to implement a system where customers can create and purchase their own product sets using only the box feature without using the subscription feature.
