1.1: Creating a product
You need to create at least one product and sell it in your online store.

1.2: Enabling Shopify Payments
To use Go Sub, you must enable Shopify Payments.
* Only payments made by customers using Go Sub can be processed with Shopify Payments. Other payment methods (bank transfers, post-payment, other payment gateways) cannot be used.
Shopify > Settings > Payments: Set up Shopify Payments here.
You can also test payments in test mode.
* If you have trouble setting up payments, please contact Shopify Support directly.
1.3: Setting up customer accounts
From Shopify > Settings > Customer accounts, select Classic customer accounts and save.
* For the differences between new customer accounts and classic customer accounts, please refer to this page.
*As of November 2024, Go Sub is not available for "new" customer accounts.If you select "new", you will not be able to add a Go Sub app block, and customers will not be able to check, modify, or cancel their subscription contracts.
We plan to update support for "new" customer accounts soon. Once the update is available,Go Sub Updatewe will announce it on this page.
With the January 2025 update, support for new customer accounts has been added!

1.4: Setting Up Cancellation Policy
Shopify > Settings > Policy > Purchase Option Cancellation Policy Please set up your cancellation policy from here.
When a customer purchases a subscription product, a link to the cancellation policy will automatically appear at checkout.
Depending on the theme, it may also appear in the cart.This is a Japanese-localized template. Please edit the content as needed before using.
Since this will be copied in HTML format, please switch your text editor to "HTML mode >" before pasting it in.

キャンセルポリシー
当店の商品の中には、定期購入、予約購入、購入前のお試し購入が可能なものがあります。このキャンセルポリシーでは、このような購入の変更またはキャンセルの方法について説明します。
定期購入
定期購入の場合、定期的に商品をお届けします。これらは、お客様が選択した定期購入の期間と頻度に基づいています。
お支払いの詳細は安全に保管され、前払いを選択しない限り、これらの配送ごとに請求されます。
購読期間終了時に自動更新されるものもあります。購読を更新したくない場合は、購読をキャンセルすることができます。
購読をキャンセルまたは変更したい場合は、いつでも可能です。注文確認メールには注文へのリンクがあります。そこから購読を管理することができます。

予約注文
予約注文を購入する場合、在庫のない商品、または在庫のない近日販売予定の商品を購入することになります。当社は、チェックアウト時にお支払いがない場合、またはお支払いの一部をお預かりし、お客様のお支払い方法を保管した後、後日、お支払いの全額または残額を請求させていただく場合があります。
お支払いの一部が完了していない予約注文をキャンセルすることができます。ご注文が完了した場合は、ご注文をキャンセルすることはできませんが、全額または一部の返金を請求することができます。返品と返金の詳細については、返品ポリシーをご覧ください。
ご購入前のお試し
ご購入前にお試しいただける商品を購入された場合、ご注文が成立する前にお客様のお支払い方法を承認させていただきます。その商品を購入するかどうかを決めるには、一定の時間が必要です。その期間が過ぎても商品が返品されない場合、お客様のお支払い方法に全額を請求させていただきます。
1.5: Change of theme text (optional)
When you select the subscription option on a product page, the text may be displayed below the purchase button. (Depending on the theme you are using, the text may or may not appear, and its location may vary.)
To edit this text, go to Theme Library and select “Edit default theme content.”
From the online store management screen, go to Themes, click the three-dot button for the current theme, and open “Edit default theme content.”
You can either switch tabs or scroll to find what you want to change from the list, or enter the text you want to modify in the search box and search for it.
Once the target text appears, input any text you like and click Save.
Please check on the storefront to confirm that the text has been updated.

1.6: Shipping Settings
Shopify > Settings > Shipping and delivery Set your shipping rates from here.
1.7: Tax Settings
Shopify > Settings > Duties and taxesPlease set up your taxes here.
2: Creating a subscription group
Let's create a group from the subscription group menu in Go Sub.
In the group settings, you can set the group name as it will appear on the product page, the target products, plan cycles, and more. Then, click the Create Plan Group button at the bottom right.
You can edit the group details later.

3: Install the code in your theme

You need to set the code in both locations.

4: Test purchase
