GO SUB Initial Settings

1: Preparation before implementation (Shopify)

1.1: Creating a Product

You will need to create at least one product and sell it in your online store.

1.2: Activating Shopify Payments

To use Go Sub:Enable Shopify PaymentsYou will need to do this.
*Customers who use Go Sub can only use Shopify Payments. Other payment methods (bank transfer, deferred payment, other payment gateways) are not available.

1.3: Setting a cancellation policy

Shopify > Settings > Policies> Purchase Option Cancellation PolicyPlease set a cancellation policy.
When purchasing regular products,Cancellation policy link automatically displayed at checkoutwill be done.
Some themes may also appear in the cart.

Cancellation Policy 
 Some products in our store are available as subscriptions, pre-orders or trials before you buy. This cancellation policy explains how you can change or cancel such purchases. 
 Subscriptions 
 With subscriptions, you will receive regular deliveries of products. These are based on the subscription length and frequency you select. 
We store your payment details securely and charge you for each of these deliveries unless you choose to prepay. 
Some products auto-renew at the end of their subscription period. If you don't want your subscription to renew, you can cancel it. 
If you want to cancel or change your subscription, you can do so at any time. Your order confirmation email contains a link to your order. You can manage your subscription from there.

 Pre-orders 
When you purchase a pre-order, you are purchasing an item that is out of stock or a soon-to-be-available item that is out of stock. We may collect partial payment at checkout and retain your payment method, after which we may charge you the full or remaining amount. 
You can cancel pre-orders for which partial payment has not been completed. If your order has been completed, you cannot cancel it, but you can request a full or partial refund. For more information about returns and refunds, please see our Returns Policy.
 Try before you buy 
If you purchase an item that allows you to try before you buy, we will authorize your payment method before your order is completed. You will have a certain amount of time to decide whether or not to purchase the item. If the item is not returned after that period, we will charge the full amount to your payment method. 

1.4: Change the theme text (optional)

When you select a subscription option on a product page, text may be displayed below the purchase button. (This may vary depending on the theme you are using.)

To edit this text, go to "Edit default theme content" in the Theme Library and make your changes.
In the admin panel, go to Online Store > Themes and click the three-dot button next to your current theme to open "Edit default theme content."

You can change tabs or scroll through the displayed options to find what you want, or enter the text you want to change in the search box.
When the target text appears, enter the desired text and press Save.
Please check the storefront to see if the text has changed.

*This function is managed by Shopify, not Go Sub, so if you have any problems or detailed questions, please contact Shopify directly.

1.5: Shipping Settings

Shopify > Settings > Shipping and DeliveryPlease set a higher shipping fee.

1.6: Tax Setup

 Shopify > Settings > Duties and TaxesSet more taxes.

2: Create a subscription group

Create a group from Subscription Groups in the Go Sub menu.
In the group settings, you can set the group name, target products, plan cycle, etc. that will be displayed on the product page, and clickCreate a plan groupbutton.
The group contents can be edited later.

3: Install the code in your theme

You need to put the code in two places.

4: Test purchase

Make a test purchase using Shopify Payments test mode.
