GO SUB Order Cycle Product Change (Subscription Service)
Check out the setup process in this fast-forward video!
The product can be automatically changed based on the number of subscription orders, and it can also be used as a subscription service.
- Step type: Continue with the last specified product
- Loop type: The specified product is delivered in a loop
There are two types, each of which can be set according to the purpose.
Step type: Continue with the last specified product
This type is ideal for transitioning from a sample to the actual product, or for selling a set product only initially and then continuing to sell only a portion of the product thereafter.

example:
- Cosmetics and hair care: Purchase of sample products automatically converts to a subscription for the actual product
- Tea: Tea leaves and bottle set for first time → Tea leaves only from second time onwards
Loop type: The specified product is delivered in a loop
This type is ideal if you want to vary the products delivered with each subscription order.

example:
- Sweets and coffee: Set the loop to 12 times and select a different product for each, so you can enjoy a different flavor every month.
- Aroma: First purchase is with a diffuser set → From the second purchase onwards, you will receive only a different aroma essence each time

- By turning this feature on and entering the number of days, you can set the interval between your first and second orders only. From the third order onwards, the cycle set in your plan will be applied.
How to set up: Step-by-step instructions with examples
Here we will explain how to set up the plan below as an example. Please change the settings according to your store.
- The first time you receive a diffuser and a mini aroma set
- From the second time onwards, five different aroma essences will be set.
- Subscriptions can only be made through set products (aromas cannot be ordered individually).
- You cannot change the product from your account page, only the quantity can be changed.

0. Prerequisite: Product registration
Before setting up your plan with GO SUB, you need to set up the following two types of products in Shopify.
① Diffuser and mini aroma set
② Aroma essence (5 variations)
1. Plan group settings
Set "Override Customer Account Page Settings" to ON and turn off everything except "Quantity Changes." This will achieve point 5 above. When changing subscriptions from the customer's account screen, only the quantity will be changeable.
In order to fix products according to the number of orders, we recommend turning off the addition, change, and deletion of products as shown in the settings below.
Please set the options as you like except for "Override customer account page settings."

For more information on "Overriding Customer Account Page Settings," please see below.HerePlease check there.
2. Products covered by the plan group
Select the initial product that will be the entry point for the subscription, and all products that will be set as the second transfer.

"3. Products outside of subscriptions (optional)" does not need to be set this time, so we will omit it.
For more details on this feature...HerePlease check here.
4. Products not listed in the group
Here, you will specify the products other than those with diffusers that you would like to subscribe to initially.
This subscription plan will not be displayed on the product page of the product you set here, preventing unintended contracts.

5. Plan
The plan name, details, cycle, etc. are the same as the settings for a regular subscription plan.
Subscription plan group settings pagePlease check.
Change the product every time you order
Check "Change product for each order" and in this example, select "Repeat from the beginning (loop)" as the rule.

Imported goods
Set the entry product.
What is an entry product? = The product that customers start their subscription with. Products set here cannot be selected even if product changes are possible from the customer account screen.

1. Since the product change function itself has been disabled in the plan group settings, it is not possible to change products from the customer account screen, so in this example it is fine to skip this setting.
Order cycle product settings
We will configure the product settings for the order cycle.
Here you can set which products you want to receive in your second and subsequent orders.

This time, we are not using "Use quantity settings." If you turn this feature on, you can set the quantity of the product you want to order regardless of the quantity you initially purchased (when signing up for a subscription).
for example:
For your first order, place a single item order. Then, for subsequent orders, set the product and quantity to two. This will automatically place a two-item order for the second item.
Change the interval between the first and second orders
By turning this feature on and entering the number of days, you can set only the interval between the first and second orders.(In this example, the option to "change the interval between the first and second orders" was not used.

for example:
The plan is set to place an order once a month. If you turn on "Change the interval between the first and second orders" and set it to 7 days, the second order will be created 7 days after the first purchase, and from the third order onwards, orders will be created every month as set in the plan. Use this option if you want to sell a sample product the first time and then place monthly orders for the full product thereafter.
