[September 2025 Update] Introducing GO SUB's new features
Thank you for using GO SUB.
With the September 2025 update, the Add to Cart app block has been updated!
This time, we will explain in detail which parts have been updated and what settings you need to make. Merchants who use the Subscription Box feature should definitely check it out.

Cart app block renewal overview
With this update, the app block that you can add to the cart screen has been updated.
Actually, there has always been an app block that allows you to add apps to your cart, but the new app block has been improved to make it even more convenient to use!

To prevent unintended changes (such as specifying a quantity other than the minimum or maximum or deleting the parent product) when a subscription box product is in your cart,Adding an app block to your cart will force the app to remove items from your cart.
[Changes made by the update]
When you move to the cart screen, a pop-up will appear.
- Pressing "OK" will delete the items related to the subscription box.
- Press "Back" to return to the previous page.
- Clicking "Proceed to checkout" will take you directly to the checkout screen.
What won't change with the update
If you do not add the app block to your theme, the product will not be deleted from the cart screen.There is still the possibility of unintended changes occurring.
The decision to add app blocking is up to the merchant who runs the store.
This does not apply to stores that do not use the subscription box feature.

Once the update is complete, when you view the cart screen with a Subscription Box product in it, the following pop-up will be displayed.

About preparing text in the cart block
The app block update is scheduled for Thursday, September 18th.

Please set the text to be displayed in the popup mentioned in the previous section.
How to set text in the GO SUB admin screen
Go to GO SUB>Settings>Translation, Text Changes.

Go to the Cart Page section at the bottom of the screen, enter any string you like, and save.
Merchants who use GO SUB in multiple languages, such as for cross-border e-commerce, should set each language separately.
*If you have never edited the text in other fields, the default string may already be set.
Please change as needed.

Setting the number of orders placed when transferring information
We have introduced a function to edit the number of orders for customers who have migrated their contract information to GO SUB.
You can edit this from the order history on the contract details page of the app management screen.
*The number of orders will be used for discounts based on the number of orders, and for calculating the next billing cycle for plans that have a different billing cycle from the order cycle. Please be careful when changing it.
*You cannot reduce the number of orders below the number actually completed in the contract.

Ability to change to an existing payment method from your account page
You can now change your registered payment method from your account page.

Change display when selecting same order creation date or delivery date and time
When changing the order creation date or delivery date and time on your customer account page, if you select the same date as an existing date, the change button will be disabled.
