【September 2025 Update】Introducing New Features of GO SUB


Thank you for always using GO SUB.
In the additional update for September 2025, the app block for adding to the cart will be new!
This time, we will explain in detail about the preparations before the update.

Merchants using the subscription BOX feature are encouraged to check and prepare accordingly.

Overview of the Cart App Block Renewal

In the next update, the app block that you can add to the cart screen will be new.
In fact, there have been app blocks that you could add to the cart before. However, the new app block has been powered up to be even more convenient for you!


【Previous Cart App Block】
When subscription box products are in the cart, to prevent unintended changes (such as specifying quantities other than minimum or maximum, or deleting parent products), adding an app block to the cart will force the app to remove items from the cart.


【Changes Due to Update】

When transitioning to the cart screen, a pop-up will be displayed.

  • Pressing 'OK' will remove items related to the subscription BOX.
  • Pressing 'Back' will return to the previous page.
  • Pressing 'Proceed to Checkout' will take you directly to the checkout screen.

 

【Things that will not change due to the update】
Items will not be removed from the cart screen unless the app block is added to the theme, so please be aware thatthere is a possibility of unintended changes occurring.
The decision to add the app block is at the discretion of the merchants operating the store.
Stores not using the subscription BOX feature are not affected.

Cart screen display after the update

When the update is complete, if you display the cart screen with the subscription box product in the cart, a pop-up like the one below will appear.

About pre-preparation (text editing)

The update for the app block is scheduled for Thursday, September 18.

Before that, please set the text to be displayed in the pop-up mentioned in the previous section.

How to set text in the GO SUB management screen

Go to GO SUB > Settings > Translation, Text Change.

Move to the cart page section at the bottom of the screen, enter any string, and save it.
Merchants using GO SUB in multiple languages, such as cross-border e-commerce, please set each language accordingly.

※If the text has never been edited in any other field, the default string may already be set.

Please change it as necessary.
