【August 2025 Update】Introducing New Features of GO SUB


Thank you for always using GO SUB.
In the additional update for August 2025, the notification feature has been renewed!
A quite convenient feature has been added, so we believe you will find it easier to use.
In this article, we will also introduce other minor updates, so please be sure to check it out.

Renewal of the notification feature.


We have added the following 10 types of emails to the notification feature. You can check them from the notification settings page.



  • Delivery date change email
    This will be sent to customers when the delivery date of the next order is changed.

  • Next order date change email
    This will be sent to customers when the next order date is changed.

  • Subscription order skip email
    This will be sent to customers when the next order is skipped.

  • Subscription product change email
    This will be sent to customers when the product in the next order is changed.

  • Subscription plan change email
    This will be sent to customers when the plan for the next order is changed.

  • Subscription BOX change email
    This will be sent to customers when the BOX for the next order is changed.

  • Subscription contract suspension email
    This will be sent to customers when the subscription contract is temporarily suspended.

  • Subscription contract activation email
    This will be sent to customers when the subscription contract is activated.

  • Subscription contract cancellation email
    This will be sent to customers when the subscription contract is canceled.

  • Subscription contract expiration email
    This will be sent to customers when the subscription contract expires.

※There are no changes to the existing emails below.


  • Pre-order confirmation email
    will be sent to the customer before a subscription order is created.

  • Payment failure notification email
    will be sent to the customer when their credit card payment fails.

  • Subscription contract start email
    will be sent to the customer when the subscription begins.

  • Subscription contract renewal email
    will be sent to the customer when the subscription is renewed.

About Liquid variables available in email templates


With this update, the Liquid variables available in email templates have also been standardized, and you can check them from the email settings page.


Additional features regarding other notifications

* If there is a code error in Liquid, emails may not be sent. Please check the template thoroughly before use.

Flow Renewal


We have added a new flow with the latest Shopify CLI.
Currently, you can continue to use the existing flows, but due to Shopify's specifications, support may not be available in the future.
Therefore, we recommend using the new flow going forward.



* For old flows, we have added '(Legacy)' to the flow name.

Apply the lead time setting for the best sales day to the delivery date calculation.


Until now, when changing the delivery date on the customer account page, we controlled the selectable dates on the calendar by considering the maximum business day lead time.

With this update, it will also apply to the display of the next order delivery date and the calculation of delivery dates on the contract details page of the app management screen and the customer account page.
Additionally, it has become possible to check the store's delivery date and time specification settings from the contract details page of the app management screen.


Increased order count limit for order tag feature


Previously, the order count limit for the order tag feature was up to 100 orders, but it has been expanded to 250 orders.
*The sync function remains applicable to a maximum of 52 orders as before.

Optimization of translation file loading for app blocks


Optimized the loading of translation files in the app block and improved performance.

Fixed a bug related to updating the price of the parent product in the customer account page for BOX.


When changing the child product of BOX from the customer account page, if the variant of the parent product was not changed, the price of the parent product was not updated.
This bug has been fixed, and the price is now updated correctly.
