🏷 4. Draft order tags now have a limit
📝 Update Overview
- The number of tags allowed on a draft order has been limited to a maximum of 250 (August 1, 2025)
- This limit applies whether you add it manually or automatically.
- You cannot add new tags to an order that already has more than 250 tags (unless you remove them).
- This change is intended to improve overall store stability and performance.
⚠️ Points to note
- If you add a large number of tags using automation tools (such as Shopify Flow or Zapier), you may hit the limit.
- Too many tags can make it difficult to add new labels, which can cause problems with order management.
- Orders that have already exceeded the limit need to be organized. New orders cannot be added unless the tag is deleted.
👉 Once you reach your tag limit, you won't be able to add new labels.
Now is the time to "organize unnecessary tags" and "review operational rules"!
