[Breaking News] Shopify B2B is now available for plans other than Plus!
On April 2, 2026, Shopify announced that it had begun offering B2B features in its Basic, Grow, and Advanced plans!
This makes it possible to open a B2B store for businesses without adding external apps or complex customizations.

Benefits of being able to use B2B features
The fact that B2B functionality is now available even outside of Plus offers two major advantages.
No dedicated app required: You can complete the setup using the standard Shopify admin panel without having to use a complex wholesale app.
Manage D2C and B2B in one store: Integrate sales to both consumer and business customers into a single management screen.
B2B features available with different plans
While the B2B functionality itself is now available, some features remain exclusive to the Plus version.
The table above provides a simplified summary; for more detailed information on the features of each Shopify B2B plan, please refer to the official website.

Restrictions in the standard plan
When using the standard plan for B2B operations, the key points to note are the specifications for "number of catalog items" and "allocation."
1. The number of catalogs is limited to "3".
The standard plan limits the number of catalogs (pricing lists for specific customers) you can create to a total of three.
(Example of catalog usage)
Wholesale 1: 10% OFF
Wholesale 2: 20% OFF
VIP: 30% OFF
As mentioned above, if your business has three or fewer main price ranges, our standard plan should suffice.
2. Catalog linking is done via "Markets".
With the Plus plan, you can directly link a catalog to a specific company (e.g., "This catalog is for Company A"), but with the standard plan, you'll need to use Shopify Markets to assign catalogs.
It is necessary to create a specific customer group as a "market" and apply the catalog to that market.
3. Advanced payment options are exclusive to Plus.
For complex payment management, such as receiving 30% as a down payment upon order and billing for the remaining balance after shipment, or for large transactions requiring installment billing, Shopify Plus remains the recommended option.
summary
With this update, I think the barrier to entry for businesses using plans other than Plus has been significantly lowered!
Furthermore, businesses that have already implemented features through apps or customizations may be able to reduce app costs and improve site speed by migrating to standard features.
While the B2B features have limitations, why not try using them with your current plan?
First, please check the admin panel!
