Aucnet, a pioneer that launched the world's first real-time used car auction in 1985, established Aucnet Consumer Products USA in California in 2023 to facilitate the sale of pre-owned luxury items in the United States. Along with this, they launched the EC store BAGPHIC.

BAGPHIC is grounded in the values of "authenticity" and "sustainability," promoting responsible consumption with a heart. The store aims to offer pre-owned luxury items of exceptional quality that are sustainable and cherished by those who appreciate true craftsmanship, striving to become a lasting presence in their customers' lives.

PROJECT OVERVIEW

A new e-commerce site project for the U.S. subsidiary targeting the American market. We focused on conveying the luxurious feel of "authentic" pre-owned luxury items, staying true to the traditions of Aucnet, a renowned company with a rich heritage. Our team was involved in the entire process, from design proposal and arranging product photography to on-site shooting and direction. We also handled the site's construction and theme customization, ensuring a seamless development process.

RESULT

To highlight the visibility of the products, especially the colorful ones, we chose white as the primary color for the site. To add a touch of elegance and sophistication, black was used as an accent color, enhancing the overall visual appeal. For the font, we selected ITC Galliard, a typeface that conveys a sense of luxury and formality, ensuring customers feel confident in purchasing high-priced pre-owned luxury items. In terms of functionality, recognizing the U.S. market, we integrated a web accessibility app to ensure an inclusive user experience. Additionally, a review feature was added to foster trust and provide assurance, making the site not only visually appealing but also reliable for a secure shopping experience.
