About Shopify's B2B Features
1. Different Pricing Settings for Each Customer
In B2B transactions, it is common for prices to vary depending on the customer and the terms of the contract.
With Shopify Plus, you can set special price lists for customer tags and groups.
This allows only specific clients to purchase products at discounted or wholesale prices, eliminating the hassle of manual price adjustments.
2. Quantity-based pricing (Volume Discount)
This feature automatically adjusts prices based on the quantity purchased to encourage bulk buying.
For example, you can easily implement pricing such as "10% off for purchases of 100 or more."
This is expected to attract large customers and increase the average purchase price.
3. Diversification of payment and settlement by invoice
In B2B transactions, not only credit card payments but also invoice payments are important.
With Shopify Plus, you can set it up so that customers can choose 'Invoice Payment' at checkout.
Additionally, it is possible to offer a variety of payment methods, such as credit card payments and bank transfers, all in one store.
1. Setting up the company and customers
Set up B2B customers as company and company location
If migrating existing customer data to B2B, execute the migration process

About pricing
There are two patterns for creating a catalog.
"How to set a discount rate" and "How to set a fixed price for each product" are the two patterns.
How to set a discount rate
To set the discount rate, when creating a catalog, you can select "Price Reduction" in the "Overall Adjustment" section and specify what percentage of discount to apply.
The difference between price reduction and price increase is as follows.
Price Reduction: The product price is discounted
Price Increase: The product price is marked up.
How to set a fixed price for each product
Click the text link "Manage" at the top right of the product and pricing section.
Click "Manage Product and Pricing".
By changing the price section, it is possible to set a fixed price.
*Even if a discount rate is set, the fixed price takes precedence.
How to set in bulk using CSV
The B2B catalog allows you to import only specific products using CSV, and at that time, you can also set a fixed price.

Summary
This time, we introduced the pricing settings for B2B features available in Shopify Plus!
If you want to use different discount rates for each product,
you cannot set the discount rate for each product.
However, by setting a fixed price after the discount for each product, it is effectively possible to sell at a price that applies the discount for each product!
The B2B feature is one of the convenient functions of Shopify Plus.
You can set it up without introducing an app, so if you're interested, please consider implementing Shopify Plus!
