From full-time office attendance to once a month. My GO RIDE life working with my beloved dog

Hello. I’m Michiru, a director at
GO RIDE.

With the new fiscal year🌸, it’s a fresh start.
This time, I’d like to look back on why I joined GO RIDE.

The reason I joined is simply “putting my beloved dog first!”

The desire to “work in design!” was of course a fundamental reason.

However,

the biggest reason was actually spending time with my beloved dog (Baby).

My previous job required full attendance. Every day, I reluctantly left home in tears.
The feeling of “I want to be with this child more…!” exploded, and I started looking for an environment centered on remote work.

That's when I came across GO RIDE.
When I heard it was "one day a month at the office" and that I could "challenge myself with web production even as a beginner," I almost decided immediately (laughs).

A happy work environment

Now, my wish has come true, and I mostly work from home.

At the foot of my desk is the baby's bed.
While I’m typing away on my PC, the baby is peacefully napping right next to me 💤

When I glance to the side, I see this sleeping姿.
Just that makes me think, "I’ll do my best" (laughs).

GO RIDE’s friendly company culture

There was one thing that gave me the biggest culture shock after joining.

Regardless of position, everyone calls each other by their first name plus 'san'.

At first, I was surprised and thought, "Really, it's okay not to use last names?" (laughs).

I am also called "Michiru-san" by everyone.

Thanks to this, the atmosphere is very flat, and now I can easily ask questions and share my opinions.

This environment, where hierarchical relationships are relaxed in a good way, seems to suit me very well.

Struggling as a director with no prior experience!

I am currently working as a director.

This job involves listening to customers' desires for "the kind of store they want to create!" and conveying these ideas to the in-house production team at
to bring them to life.

"How can we make it even better?" At
